Dave deMoulpied, VP Business Development, joined Riverdale in early 2001 to work on developing new business opportunities for the company. Since 9-11, much of that effort has been directed at the Security Fence market, helping Riverdale expand market awareness of the company’s WireWall Welded Security Fence brand and building sales of the company’s Welded Security Fence products.

Dave has more than 15 years’ experience in the security business having worked for two manufacturers of airport x-ray scanning equipment as well as having run his own consulting company.

Dave’s military service included Army Ranger training, and service in Vietnam with the Army’s renowned 82d Airborne Division. Dave has a BS degree in General Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Dave is an enthusiastic skier, having served as a volunteer member of the National Ski Patrol since 1992. In 2002, Riverdale Mills granted Dave 3 weeks leave to spend as a volunteer for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, where he was assigned to the Women’s Downhill Race Course at Snowbasin, Utah.
